Privacy policy

The Lash'Do by DK salon, located at 8205 Avenue du Cirque, Montréal, Québec H1Z 0B5, is responsible for the personal information collected on this site. The person in charge of personal information protection is the salon owner: you can reach her using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

When you book: your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, preferred language, an optional note and the appointment details (service, date, time, price).

If you agree separately: your consent to receive news and offers by e-mail, and to receive reminders by text message.

Loyalty programme: the balance and history of your points.

Technical data: a personal link (of which only an encrypted fingerprint is kept) to view, move or cancel your appointment or to see your points; a non-reversible fingerprint of your network address to limit abuse.

The salon may also record internal notes on your file (for example an allergy or glue sensitivity) to keep you safe. These notes are never sent by e-mail.

To manage your appointments, send you the confirmation, reminders and change notices, let you change them, apply your discounts and rewards, and contact you when needed.

We do not sell or rent your information. We use no audience-measurement or targeted-advertising tools.

Messages about your appointment (confirmation, reminder, change, cancellation) are necessary for the service.

Promotional messages are only sent if you ticked the box provided, which is never ticked in advance. You can withdraw your consent at any time, in one click, from your Loyalty page or the unsubscribe link, or by writing to us.

Text-message reminders are only sent with your separate consent.

We use providers who process information on our behalf, only for the service: site hosting (Vercel), the database (Supabase), e-mail sending (Resend) and, if the service is switched on, text messages (Twilio).

Some of these providers may process data outside Québec. We choose hosting in Canada where possible and make sure the information is adequately protected.

Your file is kept as long as you are a client of the salon. Personal links expire automatically. On request, we erase your personal information; we then keep only accounting data with no link to your identity.

You can ask for access to your information, its correction, its erasure, a copy in a common format, or withdraw a consent. Write or call us: we reply within 30 days at the latest.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Only necessary technical items may be used.

In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
